Block Wi-Fi users in UniFi Dashboard (Unifi Network Controller / UniFi OS)


🔹 Method 1: Block via Client List

  1. Log in to your UniFi Network Controller / UniFi OS.

  2. Go to Clients (left-side menu).

  3. Find the device you want to block.

  4. Click the device name → This opens the Client Details page.

  5. On the top right, click the Block button.

    • The client will be disconnected and won’t be able to reconnect until you unblock it.


🔹 Method 2: Create a Blocklist (MAC Filtering)

  1. In UniFi Dashboard, go to Settings → Profiles.

  2. Look for Wi-Fi / MAC Filter.

  3. Add the MAC address of the user/device you want to block.

  4. Save and apply the changes.


🔹 Method 3: Block via Wi-Fi Access Control

  1. Go to Settings → Wi-Fi.

  2. Select the SSID (Wi-Fi network) you want to manage.

  3. Scroll down to Advanced Settings → enable MAC Filter / Access Control.

  4. Add the user’s MAC address to the Deny List.

  5. Save changes.
