Log in to UniFi Dashboard
Go to your UniFi Controller (UniFi OS / UniFi Cloud).
Sign in with your admin account.
Go to Devices
On the left sidebar, click Devices.
Find and select your USW Enterprise 24 PoE switch.
Access Port Settings
Once inside the switch view, go to the Ports tab.
Select the port you want to configure (the one connected to your AP, camera, or other PoE device).
Click the pencil (edit) icon or Configure.
Enable PoE+
Under Port Profile or PoE Settings, look for PoE Mode.
Options usually are:
Off – disables PoE
PoE (802.3af) – standard PoE
PoE+ (802.3at) – higher power
PoE++ (802.3bt, if supported)
Choose PoE+ (802.3at).
Save Changes
Click Apply Changes or Save.
The port will restart power delivery, and your device should now draw PoE+ power.
✅ Tip: If you are powering high-demand devices (like UniFi U6-LR APs, PTZ cameras, or phones with displays), always set the port to PoE+. Otherwise, some devices might fail to boot or randomly restart.
